Our Contemporary Media Practice BA is built on a long tradition of teaching interdisciplinary media practice. It gives students the opportunity to work across media disciplines, preparing them for a dynamic and ever-changing media landscape. Graduates have a wide range of career options in the creative industries, including content production across film, video, interactive, emerging, and online media.
Students will have the opportunity to develop core media production skills to enable them to work across the media sector, and be the frontiers of emerging media. These are combined with transferable skills in project management and collaborative practice, along with the ability to research and analyse ideas and issues in contemporary culture.
For the Final Major Project, students typically create a wide range of work engaging with distinctive project themes and media production methods. It is the ability of our students to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances that has inspired them to show great initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity in the development of their graduate projects. We are delighted that you can celebrate their success with us.
