The Public Relations and Advertising pathway, part of the Digital Media BA degree, is a unique course, built on a decade of teaching promotional communications together with its supporting theory, and its relationship with print and broadcast media, digital platforms and social media. Our approach combines exploration of the latest and best professional practice with academic excellence.
Our students learnt through a broad mix of lectures, group and individual tutorials, critical reviews, workshops, debates, presentations and scenario simulations.
The Final Project is the sum of 3 years of study applied to solve a real life situation. Our graduating students are prepared to walk into jobs at leading Public Relations and Advertising agencies around the world.
In 2021, the PR and Advertising BA, Journalism BA, and Digital Media and Communication BA merged with the Radio BA to form the Digital Media BA course. Students on the Digital Media BA choose a specialist pathway in PR & Advertising, Journalism, Production or Communication at the end of their first year.
